Asal tahu saja, serigala laba-laba betina kadang-kadang bersifat kanibal begitu selesai kawin.(National Geographic Indonesia/Alex Pangestu)
Bye Bye The Wolf Spiders
KOMPAS.com - Like other types of animals in general, male wolf spider who entered in the family Lycosidae apply some seduction techniques to seek the attention of females who will marry. Male spiders perform specific movements and visual cues in the mating season when he met a female spider.
Male spiders ketukkan foot-tapping or moving their bodies to create vibrations in leaf, stone, wood, or soil. The signal sent by the male persuasion, according to the research of University of Cincinnati, changes depending on the surrounding environment.
The objective is to maximize the change of seduction to attract friends wedding. The most effective signal when transmitted through the leaf. Males gained 85 percent female.
"These findings suggest that invertebrates have more ability to change behavior," said Professor of Biology George Uetz, who led the study. "They can compensate for environmental changes in order to stay in touch," he added.

Not only attract, seduction is also expected sometimes a signal of male to female does not eat them. Just so you know, wolf spider females sometimes are cannibals once completed mating. (National Geographic Indonesia / Alex Pangestu)
